IMT Computers Nigeria Ltd has been selected as a Training Service Provider (TSP) under the Innovation Development and Effectiveness in the Acquisition of Skills (IDEAS) Project — a World Bank-supported initiative implemented by Nigeria's Federal Ministry of Education. The programme strengthens Nigeria's Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system by equipping young Nigerians with practical, employable skills.
What This Means
Under the programme, IMT Computers is delivering free, hands-on Laptop Repair and Mobile Phone Repair training for residents of Ikeja and its environs — combining classroom instruction with real diagnostic and repair work, taught by experienced instructors, alongside customer service and entrepreneurship skills.
Why We Were Selected
Established in 2000, IMT Computers has built over two decades of technical training experience in Lagos, backed by modern training laboratories and certified instructors. IMT is also an FOA (Fiber Optic Association) Accredited Training & Certification Center (#718), providing internationally recognised fiber optics training and certification — the kind of proven, industry-focused track record the IDEAS-TVET programme looks for in its training partners.
The current cohort's registration is closed, but the programme is ongoing. Full details, including who to contact about future intakes, are on our IDEAS-TVET programme page.
