A certification is only as good as the training behind it. Over more than 25 years, IMT Computers has trained and certified students in fiber optics, networking and IT skills — and we've built that track record on hands-on, lab-based training rather than theory alone.
What Hands-On Training Actually Means Here
Every FOA candidate at IMT Computers works with real splicing, testing and OTDR equipment in our Ikeja lab, under an FOA Certified Fiber Optic Instructor, before ever sitting the certification exam. We don't put candidates into an exam they haven't been prepared for — the goal has always been technicians who can do the job, not just pass a test.
Where Our Graduates Are Today
Over 700 students and professionals have trained through our fiber optics, networking, web development and hardware programs. Graduates go on to work as installation and maintenance technicians for ISPs and telecom companies, as network engineers, and — for some — building their own fiber optics and IT businesses.
We'd rather back that record with something you can verify than ask you to take our word for it: our lead instructor's FOA credentials are independently checkable, and our accreditation number (#718) can be confirmed directly with the Fiber Optic Association.
